There is a Listed race for Fillies at Deauville today. Michael Appleby sends Merryweather over and she is on a run of 3 wins. It would be disappointing for the status of today's race if a filly rated 84 could win it though and although she is progressing I can't take the leap of faith with a filly whose last win saw her raised 3 lbs from 81. I would be looking for a bigger improver.

One or two interesting ones here and Tamahere was 3rd in a Listed race last time. Her previous win reads poorly though and she is not for me. The one that caught my eye was American Apples. The grey filly was modest on debut over 7 furlongs but won next time upped to 11 furlongs. That was quite a step up in trip and today she is in between those distances at 9 and a half furlongs. She has joined Francis Graffard and he is in excellent form with seven of his last eight runners winning. The caveat would be that he has not had her very long.

Hard to tie the form for me but having watched her last run I was impressed by the way she picked up that day and she did come forward a lot from debut to her second race.

I was in Ladbrokes this morning and she was 7/1 there but afterwards I noticed they cut her to 4/1. It certainly wasn't my stake that caused that!! There was 13/2 qnd 6/1 aplenty at that stage but 5/1 is the best now available. On the Ze Turf website she is actually weak, at 10.7 from 8.0 last night. Something about her last start that struck me as a horse with more to give and looking at the others in the field it seemed very open.

Hi fellas! Ffos las,2 50:the 2 last Time out scorers are much respected here,but both dont look unbeatable,so i Take a Chance on KAPGA DE LILY.she has not shown much so far this Season,Albeit over hurdles,but could well be a different Proposition over fences.not underrated Today.
