Commo said he lost his back legs at one, 4rd last maybe, serious mistake ? Sounded it but he was back on the bridle and pulling clear soon after so didn't trouble him too much. 90+ rated flat horses transfering to timber are always of interest, especially ones that are proven with cut
Great stuff lads. Grizzly yeah he made a couple of true errors but managed to get back on the bridle. If he neatens up I think he'll be very nice
For you Meydan lovers... Just a question to you on the commentary... The commentator quotes the speed times after certain parts of the race. Is this to help in-running betters...? Or to let punters know how fast they are running in regards of standard going or not...??? Is this just something that other countries do that we dont do here...??? Many thanks... I just cant see Thommo talking on commentary then quoting times then being able to get back to the race...
Anyone see that Lord Tiger winning at Meydan just now - had the plum draw 1 and completely missed the break, about 8 lengths off the lead after 100 yards. Lost the inside berth but somehow worked this way through on the bend and when he saw daylight in the straight absolutely streaked away. Some performance off top weight and a great ride from Harry Bentley.
ROEDEAN 11/4 looks great value to upset the favourite at Wolverhampton here. Form not strong for the Botto odds on shot, whereas ROEDEAN ran really nicely in midfield of a big sales race won by non other than Albany winner SAMITAR. Should go close here if taking to the surface.
I see Red Cape is 3/1 to grab another win here at Wolverhampton If that wins for the third time in 6 starts, then I'll cup Lady Ga Ga's balls and sing Born This Way. The number of times I backed that in the past with no luck LOL.
Had to have a play at 25s on old Street Power. Twice a winner from long absences, and with a string of good all weather efforts to its name, will need a bit of luck in running but is talented enough.
