Josses Hill out today over 2m4...He'll have to show vastly better jumping than we've seen so far, and he'll want to be winning that decisively to have any Cheltenham aspirations whatsoever. The distance jumps out at me..are they now going JLT now to avoid Un de Sceaux??
Vinnieslittlelamb had a bad run lto and realistically on previous form should not be 12s and with a good round should have enough to go close in the 140 ban
12yr old acrai rui could show the youngsters how to stay and at 19s , which is way to big Assirum should breeze the 350
I'm torn between dingo bay and present lodger so the r/f is a must but I do think dingo should have the edge
The ground not being a bog jumps out at me. The Arkle fav racing exclusively in bogs his full career jumps out a bit as well.
Would struggle to get a handicap out of him he just isnt a natural over the bigger 1s. Back to hurdling for rest of season surely.
Will need a Mr Henderson miracle to sort him out, seems to have the potential to jump spectacularly but it just isnt clicking, there is no rhythm. Be amazed if they dont take their chance in the Arkle, no point going back over hurdles now, he isnt good enough to win top hurdle races anyway and he wouldnt stay well enough in the JLT. I wouldnt write him off just yet, im not surprised he got beat today at the trip, but wanted to see a better round of jumping.
Coilte Cailin 9/2 in the last at Dundalk gets a nice bit of weight all round and if the handicapper has got to Sharjah and that's a big if then CC can oblige. Sharjah is a very game horse though and these will probably fill the 1st two places.
Ze six nations is back...Sacre bleu ! Going to take a very good team to win the grand slam this year I can't see it being done really with the way they meet each other. Ireland will win the championship though (I'm not being biased!!) and It should be tight here between England and Wales.
