Mr Henderson has opted to run Sign Of A Victory on the level then, in the ‘lucky last’ tomorrow eve at Wolverhampton (9.15). Really interesting entry and Ems’ ex has been booked.

Roadie Joe 7/1 Sandown 2:40 - keeps improving for his running, won grade 2 in battling fashion the last day and should appreciate the Sandown uphill finish. The one to beat in this field.

I say old boy, the forums favourite trainer sending a quality animal gallivanting around the Wolverhampton sands? Never thought his would happen!

There are, I guess, 2 ways of looking at the transfer to the level – (i) Mr Henderson believes he could be a genuine classy performer on the Flat (Sign of a Victory is a Bumper winner) or (ii) his hurdles rating (154) is now close to untenable and the Flat is being tried almost as a last resort.

I’m tempted to lean more towards (i) but tomorrow should be highly informative. The owners though did try to sell the horse, in the summer, so perhaps they realised, back then, that Sign Of A Victory had perhaps, peaked – he was led unsold out of the sales ring at 145,000 gns.

Exeter 1.10 Otago Trail 11/4
Seems people can't get money onto Venetia Williams charge quick enough this evening looking at the price slashing going on. I grabbed 11/4 there but that's gone already with Paddy Power. Someone surely knows something with this inexposed novice chaser pitched into his first handicap...(or else it's lemmings following lemmings, always possible<laugh>)

The money spoke. Decent engine in there as it wasn't his jumping won it for him.

Nothing jumping out at Dundalk later so going to do a small ew trixie on Little Sweetheart,Toccata Blue & Hatch Hall
Nice shout Beefy

Yes she did well STH - a good rider.

Felt sorry for the poor guy who fell off in the race at Sandown. I think it was the tack but sad as he had actually jumped all the fences and only needed stay on for 100 more yards.

Simonsig out tomorrow NOOOO!!!! <wah>

I had him at 6/1 ew then topped up on him When UDS pulled out at 7/2!! Oh well
Not only that - I didn't take the 7/4 for Don Poli on Wednesday and he is now odds on!! Terrible stuff

Surely Vibro Valtat now wins!! Can't see Special Tiara troubling him , Mr Mole could but the ground is surely against him SDG is not the horse he was Jamie even said that after his last race so leaves Josses Hill but has bit to find with the Fav! But as my fingers have been burnt on this race I'm not getting involved so will watch it and enjoy (and thinking what if... <laugh>)
