If I were there I would be scanning the on course bookies to see if I could get Evs (maybe 10/11) for Hamish in the 16.10

The only other one that interests me is Seried Ranks (ew) in the 16.45. 10/1 available with 2 bookies. This colt won going away from the odds on Blue Point colt in heavy ground on debut. Subsequently 5/12 btn 5½L by Reveiller on gf after ducking right start and jumping path over 3f out, Revelier has since been running OK in much higher class than this race (btn 6l in the G2 Norfolk Stakes at Ascot and btn 5½l in the G3 Prix de Cabourg at Deauville

15:00 Goodwood - Coral Golden Mile: - Class-2 Heritage Handicap:

Will give the Lope De Vega gelding, Awaal, another chance (backed him a couple of times before). Will handle the soft ground conditions and the 1m. distance is ideal. There is no draw advantage according to ATR. The talented young jockey, Harry Davies (3), takes the ride for the S & E Crisford stable.

9/1 (Bet365/PP) best price at time of writing. E/W best option, I guess (as usual!).

That looks a good spot rudey. Has only run at Bangor 3 times and would have won the other time when well backed fav but for unseating the jockey at the last. My only concerns would be the jockey (only ridden Daranova once before, as a 5lb claimer, back in Oct 2020 and unplaced) and the improving Honey I'm Good, looking for a 3 timer with the 3lb claimer Isabel Williams. So, if I were betting on this race, I would have 4 points on Honey I'm Good at 11/4 and 1 point on Daranova at 11/1

After the disastrous run by Awaal in the Coral Mile at Goodwood, one should not try to regain losses, but I do think Big Jimbo has a good chance for Hollie Doyle in the 19:35 at Bath this evening.

5/2 with Unibet is the best price at time of writing.
