A bit of a tentative one here, but it will be really interesting to see how Ma Jacks Hill goes in the 14:36 at Gowran Park today. He started in bumpers last season with a big reputation having seen off the likes of Sartudo and Strong Link in a Dromahane point-to-point but didn't show enough gears to be prolific in that sphere, running solidly rather than spectacularly. Elliott starts him off over hurdles in a very low-key affair today and, whilst it may just be a fact-finding mission, I do think facing obstacles will be the making of him and a bold show could be on the cards. Could. As I say, a tentative pick more out of interest than conviction. Best price 3/1 with 365 at the time of writing.
