Through the card at Goodwood then Kings Fete/Loving Things Promising Run/Forge One Word More/Donncha Muthmir/Goldrea Dusker/ Buskin River Namroodah/Al Jazi Indulged/Cosmealpolitan
Simon if you are reading - Sabre Squadron a NR I'd like to go through the card Toppy, but I don't like anything in the 4.20 And in all the others, the only one of yours I'm on is King's Fete. You may see this as a good thing or a bad thing - the choice is yours I'm anticipating Emotionless to come good in the 2.35, Franklin D a shoo in for the Heritage, can't see past Marsha (is that cockney rhyming slang?) in the King George, Mise En Rose is an ew certainty in the fillies race and Al Neksh a sporting chance in the lucky last. Sorted!
Mount Logan 4/1 should be able to bring his tally to 4-4 at Goodwood in the first. Running well In better fields than this and is the one to beat for Varian/Atzeni. Marsha 11/2 will make the frame again in the King George Stakes. Slowly away at York lto she got up on the line to score vs some re opposing animals today. Once she breaks well today she should have too much, rapidly improving, exciting filly. Queen Alphabet 4/1 Galway 6.50 - Peter Fahey has to have one of the most fun animals in training on his hands in QA. A ready winner at Gowran over today's distance lto she is as game as they get and it will take something special to outstay her up the Galway hill.
Had a little E/w nibble at Celestial Path, 3.10 and Goken, 3.45, to find a bit of value at Goodwood. Small money singles. It's nearly the weekend ...
Also had just a small bet on Moss Street at 7/1 in the 16:30 at Bangor. Welsh-sounding name of trainer and jockey, if nothing else!
Lovely Jubbly bet landed.Got word for As De Pique in the Blazers chase at Galway. This a very competative race so gone Ew 15/2.Gavin Cromwell already had a winner here this week and this lad has a nice spin out at Wexford seven days ago which should have him spot on for this.
It pisses me off royally hearing pundits and punters alike, saying things like "best horse in the race, best draw and best jockey, but I won't be backing him at that price" So you'd rather back a loser then??? Marsha next up - another one "too short"
Casting my eye away from Goodwood for a change and looking at this evening's Bath card, there might be a good bet for a Luke Morris treble with Rainbow Pride, Singeur and Cote d'Azur ( 6.35, 7.10, 7.45 ). If ambition gets the better of me and I feel like starting the weekend with a bang I may just have a go at that.
Could be right mate, although a stride beyond the line Easton Angel had her head in front of Marsha. Always hard luck stories in these sprints though!
Zamjar that i had in the next is a non runner so i've taken a chance with Hannon's Buskin River @ 50/1 ew and in the 5:30 Fahey's horse Theo's Lolly looks overpriced @ 33/1 so ew singles and ew double on these two
Alan King in flying form with a double at Bangor today and his flat runners performing well. So a little ew on his Cosmeapolitan in the lucky last at Goodwood who he gives an ew squeak to his website. Friendless in the market though.
