Is there a more over rated jockey than Richard Johnson? Apart from maybe Geraghty, guy is ****ing useless
It's interesting though that Elliott has Apple's Jade and Cracking Smart in the race. He must know how they stand. Elliott and Mullins have 5 of the 7 runners
leopardstown,1 20: well,i d say,5 of the 6 runners are very much on the same level,class-wise,so not easy to say,who ll come out on top,but TOWER BRIDGE has some very useful hurdles form from last season, especially his third at aintree, and though rather disappointing on his chase debut, can make amends today..
limerick,1 40: a similar story here,as theres not much between the principals here, but a narrow vote goes to triumph hurdle winner FARCLAS.hasnt shown the same form since his cheltenham heroics, but probably had excuses since then, especially in the hattons grace, which was maybe too hot a race for him,and still wasnt too far beaten, apart from the runaway winner.so,if all is well today, can run a big race..
Jade runs them ragged. Faugheen ran a great race but I think the relentless pace just found him out. He's fine
As usual ruby ends up on the floor yet AGAIN last fence and 2nd last hurdle, not pocket talk either, he's getting worst imo
Cracking Smart sauntered round in 3rd most of the way, got overtaken and sauntered the rest of the way going further and further behind. May have been pulled up - couldn't see. Question now is will he line up at Cheltenham. Will have to wait and see what the trainer says
Not today but it is pretty much evident in general that Ruby purposely loses a lot of races these days, he's the #1 name in the business so he can get away with it and have it swept under the rug but he definitely does throw a lot these days. Can't blame him though, probably makes 4-5 times as much as he does if he'd win on it
leopardstown,3 00 ROAD TO RESPECT was a really impressive winner of the jnwines chase at down royal last month, and though this looks a deeper contest today,he should be bang there,if in the same vein of form..big shout!
Sorry lads but I can't be having any jockey falling off a horse at 30+ miles on purpose. Surely there are far easier ways and much less of a risk to your personal health to make sure a horse doesn't win.
Got squashed for room and nearly went throught the railings and then stumbled at a crucial point!! Winner looked good tho!!
