Joseph O'brien due to jump over the small ones on Sunday instead of being at the Curragh. Weight issues perhaps catching up on him?

Not a usual thing for me to look into a poor handicap at Wetherby but as the internationals look so poor my weekly accumulators are struck off and il have a small go on the horses.

An old fav of mine tuns today

3.20 Wetherby JACK THE GENT 20/1 returns after 200 odd days and off an exceptionally low mark of 107. He has to prove his stamina for the trip but I think conditions of the race may suit him. There are the 9 runners and whilst the majority of his form is over 2m, I can see him leading them all the way around. If he jumps as well as he can, he has a right chance of skipping clear and the ground is good for him.

He won a 19f novice hurdle and has always to my eye looked a horse who might surprise over a trip and his pedigree doesnt put me off his chances of staying either. He's a big old horse.

It's a leap of faith after he was pulled up in June but its a long break for an 11 year old to have and returning for perservering connections off 107 he ought to be knocking on the door sooner rather than later.

Got to be realistic so small stakes.

15:20 Wetherby - Vinny Gambini

(Needs to improve a bit but has a chance in this event. 5/1 will do for the time being!).

Having a bit EW on BALINDERRY 40-1 Newcastle 3:10, Nick Kent has had his horses in good form of late and this one has dropped to a ridiculously low mark, if it doesn't do something today it never will.

Combined TopC & Stick's outsiders in a €2.50 e/w patent together with Valsesia in 5.25 n as I'm bored and could not pick one myself although had looked at both last night

Tonights dundalk darts
6.05-no fear 10/3.smullen on board and should go very close
6.35-well insured 8/1 ew.this lad has missed the kick in his last two races but ran on well to suggest that if he breaks well he is a decent ew shout.i will literally be waiting on the break before deciding quickly if I will be backing the old boy

Great call on Greenlaw thanks! Would have won by more if not for jumping right was eating up ground in between fences.
