Yeah that's the risk. He didn't jump the hurdles fantastic the last day either but the Downpatrick fences aren't the stiffest around, hopefully he'll be ok :) The bumper hoss is the best bet tomorrow!

Well done with Whizzzey Rascal.

Mr.Mulliner didn't do himself justice over the big 'uns sadly. He's probably a bit high at the weight over hurdles so hard to know what the next step is for them with him now.

Quiet evening this evening so I will chance Glendaars Best 12/1 in Dundalk's 8.05 Apprentice handicap. He get's In this 50-80 event as bottom weight and has Tom Madden claiming another 2 off his back. He went close at Cork 3 starts back over this distance and has had another flat spin (disappointed) and hurdle run where he finished a decent 2nd over 2 mile. If he can reproduce that Cork effort and handle the surface here he should go close with this feather weight for Dot Love's barn.

Welldone Squire. Had a wee bit e/w at 14s. Must be fantastic to have such a horse. Im up for a syndicate 5 scottish pounds per week.

Disappointing effort again from Glendaars.

On a positive note, great to see old Red Cape gain his final success at the ripe age of 12. I'm sure he's a stable star and I think he was retired after winning tonight too so all the best to that old warrior, a fave of mine over the years.

Beefy was tweeting a few days ago how he'd had an ante post stab at Jezki. Must be the fastest loser on here this year.

The first of the antepost down the juggler <doh> I'll be looking a second season hurdler now to win the World Hurdle.

It's been a busy day and only just caught up with the racing action but had to come on and say well done to Stick and the Don as your lad certainly did you proud yet again today. Travelled like the best horse in the race and only found one too good. I mentioned it last night and I still feel the same after the race that RH needed to imagine the winning line half a furlong before it actually was as Squire lacks a turn of foot but is super willing and will stay all over that distance, had he got his head in front at any time in the last furlong and a half it would have been tough to get past him. To be fair the winner did it well and was not stopping himself however. I felt a bit silly afterwards as I had a small bet on him but sadly didn't go EW which at 14's I should have done.

What is for sure is that it would be hard to wish for a more genuine animal.

On other business Happy Birthday Ginger - Time test did the business well. Not quite a Squire but still very much a forum horse thanks to Barney giving the heads up before his colours were properly shown in public. I hope they keep him in training as he could have a good season next year.

Blue - Charlton confirmed after the race that Time Test will be kept in training next season. He also suggested a trip across the pond was an option.
