No, just seen the replay and he couldn't have done more - in front before and after the line but just done on the bob

Is it just me or did Frankie not really ride to the line there?

I think it is just you!

When they hit the line he had his hands nearly over her head shoving up her neck. Hopefully Frankie (and all other jockeys) just learned why you should not celebrate winning before the result is called.

Congratulations to connections of Marsha. I thought about putting her in the competition today as a better-priced alternative to Battaash but stuck with my original thought.

Will Frankie celebrating thinking he won the Nunthorpe when he didn't be on It'll Be Alright On The Night? <rofl>

Did Alex tip Lady Aurelia?

The way it got hammered in the betting, Mr Quinn is probably handing over the house keys and the pair of them will be down the YMCA tonight... <laugh>

Pretty certain I remember seeing on skybet a Alex Hammond double of Lady Aurelia and Mojito.

They might as well withdraw Mojito now – I put it in the tipping competition, so it is doubly jinxed. <laugh>

Was sorely tempted but showed great restraint and kept my powder dry. Always wary of piling into a horse over the minimum distance

Anyone on a Dartmouth/Lady Aurelia double today must be close to quitting the game. Defeats that neither deserved, both in front just before and just after the line, demoralising

Smokey lane has some woeful form going into the 500 at Ffos but at double figures and down in class i am willing to take a chance. Conditions should suit too

Top tipster that Alex Hammond ;)
Lovely gal but it's getting beyond a joke this stage!she's a decent presenter though maybe should stick to that! Anyone arsed getting up at 5am to watch this McGregor match, think I'll watch the 10am reply on the old mobdro

Been out for me old mans birthday. Had one of those days, we backed balding all day through the cards. You do the math, I'm to pissed

In the City of York Stakes I was struggling last night to choose between Suedois, Talaayeb and So Beloved, Nothing btween Suedois and So Beloved on their run behind Breton Rock, where both met with interference. So beloved ran a cracker against The Gurkha last year. Seems to run well without winning so eventually narrowed it down to the other two. In her only run as a 2yo Talaayeb beat Neshmeya 2½l who, in her next run was beaten 3½l by Shutter Speed. Talaayeb's first run as a 3yo was in the 1000 Gns where she finished 4th to Winter, just 1¼l behind race fit Daban. She found 10f a bit too far in her only other race, having dwelt at the start. Lightly raced, this could be the joker in the pack. However, I went for Suedois, just; but I'm now thinking I should have gone for the filly. Can't change my mind now.
Why ****ing not?<laugh><doh>
