2.10 Cheltenham Robin Of Locksley 25/1

I really fancy this one to outrun its odds. It has much more scope for improvement and although in at the deep end here, will be an interesting one to keep an eye on now switched to the highly regarded Dan Skelton.

Has won a 3m Point so won't be lacking for stamina- ran a highly creditable 2nd to Anibale Fly in his one bumper start for Martin Hassett, which was over 2m. He saw off the rest of the field including a half-decent Gigginstown yardstick, but Anibale Fly had a bit more speed late on, which was to be expected. I don't know how he has schooled but if he can jump well, I'd fancy him to make a decent fist of this up in trip around a track that should play to his stamina strengths.

A bit of a longshot but I'll take a chance.

Good shout. Very unlucky mate.

Fancy Mighaar in the next, has been running well in better races and Ferguson's horses are running well.

As I'm watching this race I'm having 8 runners for fun, 1 point each and hope one of the bigger prices win
Shipyard, Clear Spring, Hoof It, Highland Acclaim, Joey´s Destiny, Boomerang Bob, Aetna, Dragon King

<laugh> FFS. That was hardly fun. I think I was watching the right race <doh>

Just showed Breeders Cup races on Ch 4. Very emotional seeing SNA winning, especially the close-up at the finish

<cracker> Lovely! Made hard work of it and the stamina really did have to see it through, however the ground didn't look as soft as I anticipated so this one might show a bit more on a softer track at some point in the future.

It could be one to progress through the handicap ratings but I'd have a look to se what the handicapper does next and I wouldn't want to be getting too involved on quicker ground, so we might want to be selective with this one going forwards <ok>

Anyone remember this back at the start of the flat in May?

Magic Circle is odds on to win again off 78 now in soft conditions. I can't play at that price but glad to see he progressed as thought <ok>

Does it very nicely. Passage blocked but threaded through comfortably. 8/15

Lovely performance again. I think next season we really ought to be on the look out for likely types to progress from lowly marks.

I should have done that in my ten to follow on the jumps!

The Skelton's deliver a crane kick to fave Drumlee Sunset with the well backed Mister Miyagi, both pulling 20 + clear of the field although I'm not sure they beat much, time will tell.

Lovely couple of races at Dundalk this evening notably the Listed heat at 8:05 featuring group 1 winner and globe trotting Gordon Lord Byron amongst some good raiders from across the pond.

My bet will be in the 7:05 and on David Wachman's McManus owned Back On Top @ 5/1. Upped 7 lb for a cosy success over CD lto here I'm hopeful she can improve again and land the spoils here. She has ran faster times over the distance than her rivals and she can be on the premises given she is likely to be improving still as she's so lightly raced.
