I get that I used to have the same mentality, I would have rather had a little something back than lose it all but then I started to think it was just pointless. I bet to win not to minimise my losses. I do still bet ew (mostly when doing multiples) it's not like I never do. Generally speaking if I fancy a horse it's because I think it has a good chance of winning so I go all in. If it doesn't win then that's gambling and I got it wrong.
