Good Luck <ok>

The (17:15) opening race at Newmarket (July Course), a Class-4 Fillies' Novice Stakes over 7f on good ground could well result in a decently-priced winner? Briefly, and without further ado, selection is the Wootton Bassett filly, Stellenbosch, (Damsire: Galileo). Made a very promising debut over 6f at Newbury 15-days ago. Hollie Doyle on board for the Richard Hannon yard.

6/1 best odds early-doors, in many places on the ATR site. Any drift in price, then E/W would be the preferred option.

Stellenbosch is a lovely place.

Stellenbosch is a lovely place.

Although I know parts of Africa quite well, especially the west/northwest, nearest I ever got to South Africa was Angola (Uggh, not particularly 'lovely)'. Looking at pictures of Stellenbosch it certainly is a charming place, with vinyards which produce some of the world's best wines, and a town rich in cultural history (2nd oldest town in South Africa, I believe?). Thanks for starting an interesting topic (for me, anyway!) <ok>

Ran a good race to finish 3rd at 5/1 SP. Pretty confident that it won't be long before this filly is in the winner's enclosure.
