Nice to see the winners still flowing on a day were we're feeding off scraps! Does anyone know if any meetings are on tomorrow?? I'll get the league comp thread up if there are
Well done ROTO also and anyone who followed us, about time we agreed on a winner. In race 2 I cant help but think the favourite should be stepping up in trip rather than dropping back a furlong. TOCCATO BLUE 5-2 may be pretty exposed but I think he is worth siding with against the jolly.
Kempton, Lingfield and Naas still on Percy, the problem for Kempton and Lingfield will be getting horses and jockeys to the tracks mate. Pretty miserable in the South East this evening!
Cheers Stick. From Ger Lyons Facebook page. "Ok only 2 tonight at Dundalk & Toccata Blue has best chance. Blinkers will improve him but the money is for Halfords colt!"
Having a small dabble on 6.50 Dundalk Indigo Iris 22/1. Formerly with Richard Hannon, Indigo Iris showed some ok enough form in 3 maidens with a 6L 2nd to the now 81 rated Don Libre probably the pick over 7f at Lingfield. He joined Tom McCourt in October last year and he has had two quick runs in handicaps, the latter surely over a trip too far, which has seen him quickly drop 7lb from an opening handicap mark of 63 to 56. He's dropped back to 7f tonight which is interesting and a first time visor is applied - which worked wonders for another of McCourt's runners last week at the track to win. Ian Brennan takes the ride and a handy 3lb off and he seems to be a go to jockey for the trainer boasting a record of 2-6 whilst he was also a half length beaten 2nd an another of the trainers runners last week. McCourt seems to have his string in fine order with (prior to Copper Dock tonight) his last two runners finishing 1st and 2nd and from the plum draw in stall 1 and a bit of money around for him I'm willing to have a small play at the price in this very poor handicap with the top weight rated just 59.
Having two stabs in the next, horrible race so a couple of very minimal each ways on NEDS INDIAN & NUREYEVS BOY
