The 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th and 8th of 8 runners have all been tailed off since, the 6th hasnt run and 2nd benefited from its only danger being carried off the track when winning next time, so I fancy the form isnt that strong at all. That said, Capel Path is a nice prospect who had previously ran well in 2 decent maidens, he should have a good chance today if fit enough. He apparently got the better of Stoute's handicap winner yesterday in a recent gallop as well which looks a plus.
305 Ayr Tap Night Ran in the race last year off of 145 and was 4th, returns this year off 128 and for me stink of a Mcmanus handicap blot that has been saved for Lucindas local track and the money is now coming! Doubled up with Demora at 610 Bath, Lightning quick form the gates they wont see which way this one goes
Stoichkov looks likely to run well in Dundalk ' s 6:05. He's 16/1 atm. Running over further than 5f recently it looks as though he will try bounce out and make all this evening. Looks a good each way to me.
Cheers pal, fingers crossed. You boys got any solid thoughts on the classics as of yet? Can't make my mind up on the Guineas other than not a big fan of Gleneagles. Like Sir Isaac Newton as a Derby prospect but want to see him run again, very pleased to see Zawraq looking like a serious animal.
cheers STH--funny you put stoichkov up, caught my eye earlier , but dismissed it due to too much racing going on , so will have a dabble ....by the way 6 55 Southwell sees Yes Daddy return to the scene of his last win ....surely robert stephens will have him primed ... The classics --no thoughts yet --not often do i feel strongly about such early season flat races --
I have a nice double of yasmeen going onto knightly escapade in the 5.00... any ideas of a saver to have? Laying isn't an option
I can't be certain rudebwoy, I know he likes to bounce out and go from the front and maybe they feel tonight he can bounce and get an unassailable lead. I'd be on Zawraq Toppy, looked nice at the weekend and I was keen on him before that too. But on the other hand O'Brien will have his charges in better form by then. I haven't given too much of a look into it yet and could well change my mind come race time though.
sorry Tward --wouldnt want to try and steer you in that race --who's turn is it today ?--money for Karl Burke and martin harley's nag--maiden but running in a weaker race, seasonal return -burke's often run well fresh --take your chance mate !!
Is Ryan Moore the most overhyped/ overrated jockey going? Yet Again, Ooty Hill, Multilingual and Shoal all well beaten not to mention John F Kennedy. There were some decent performances at Newbury today though including Star Of Seville in the condition stakes and Yasmeen, for John Gosden, who I really liked today. I wonder if Newbury have ever consider adding the Lockinge (and Swettenham Fillies Trial) meeting to this Greenham meeting? It would certainly enhance the meeting.
