There are 54 races today , probably over 600 runners , seems impossible to look at them all , or even absorb what’s running where , overload !
Come november , it will be only aw flat , but i suppose they’ll have two meetings , 16 races a day of sand runners , nh thankfully isn’t as over populated with horses as the flat .

That’s been one of my bugbears with racing for years now; there’s too much of it, and it’s often of a woeful standard. On the one hand, I wouldn’t want to deny revenue to places like Uttoxeter or Fakenham;
all weather evening racing in October though? And presumably right through the winter? Who needs that ffs?

I'd take the opposite view and would much rather have more all weather flat than any at all over jumps.
