What prat let a dog on the track? Field galloped over it with no harm to anyone, but still ........ it couldn't jump a fence though!

Do you think they are running Champers On Ice over hurdles again (2nd time this term) to protect his chase mark for the GN?!? Maybe not but I wouldn't rule anything out with those connections!

I've always thought that he was a better hurdler, and although he managed a win last year, it wasn't anything special. I was assuming that the stable had thought the same, but as you say - from that stable, who knows!

And looking at his jumping in that race, you would be forgiven for thinking he should stick to NH flat races!

At the forecast odds of 12/1 I would be happy to take a chance with Sir Hamilton finding enough improvement to win this weak looking contest. Beaten 6l, 7th of 14 on début, ran green and edged left final furlong. That was 7f at Newmarket on a sound surface so should be able to see out this mile on polytrack. Luke Morris takes the ride tomorrow. Canford Cliffs colt out of a Danehill Dancer mare looks decent pedigree as well. No-one seems to fancy it so should start at a decent price.
****ing hell. It only went and won at 12/1 after shortening to 100/30

Happy to see Repare Mon obliged last night.I see Gordy Elliot and Davey The Dog Russell had the winner with Bless the Wings.Enda Bolger record in the Cross Country the last five years has been brutal, Bless the Wings could be the one to side with again come March.

This race is more competitive since it's been a handicap that's why bolgers horses have struggled they used to get a weight advantage

Didn't watch the racing till early this morning, was at the international horse show at Olympia but was delighted to see bless the wings win. Happily I backed Arthur's gift as well so a nice double and I just goes to show the difference a good claimer makes
