Hes getting horses who were decent at one stage at least but ultimately are no longer required by Godolphin, hes not going through their young horses and hand picking the best jump prospects, eventually one will probably come along and take to the jumps but the majority will be **** track bullies at best.

I think they do give their slaughter animals some hormonal treatment prior to slaughter which must play a a part in the taste but obviously helps them grow and gain weight quicker, the Yanks will do anything to try improve something that's already good anyway with time.

They get synthetic implants though for hormone growth. That's why the meat is banned in Europe I think.

Maybe certain products that pass regulation can be sold but generally their meat is banned. I think they have banned ours too, not sure if that's still in place though.

Your making me hungry with all this steak talk. Few fried onions, mushrooms and some nice steak <ok>

That was some sit wasn't it. Few slips on the bends there too, luckily no injuries reported.

I think Mr Nicholls might have got Mon Successeur into this next race off a decent mark. He was just touched off by a 128 rated McCain animal over fences last time out (looking like he needed the run) and gets in here over hurdles off 125 with the lad taking off 7 - e/w bet at 10s

Off the top of my head Istabraq, Katchit, Punjabi, Binocular (I think too), all average enough ex-flat horses who went on to win Champion Hurdles. Not sure whether they'd be any higher rated than plenty of Fergusons yokes??? Think he gets ammo far better than most to be fair.

Common trait of his is there all soft as ****e when there in a proper race though.
