Very poor wasn't he? Good to see Quilixios back in the winners enclosure though - I was just thinking this morning how Triumph Hurdle winners often tend to disappoint thereafter.
I was going to include Hoover Dam at 100/1 last night but it looked like a NR. Some have come out which let's him at 25/1. So have to put that 10p on him as well at 25/1. I see Artful Approach 8/1, Nedita 15/2, Alex Belardo 12/1 are now 13/2, 4/1 and 9/1 respectively, presumably as a result of the NRs
In the Lawlor's of Naas I'll take An Tobar to further advertise the Royal Bond form and upset the big two yards.
I know you were Oddy. I haven't been able to pick a winner for a while so I thought I would narrow the field down in case anyone was having a bet in that race . It's unusual though that so many in one race fall into a category that interests me at a price
Having re-watched I have to agree. I initially thought he had taken it a bit easy on Ile Atlantique but I counted 5 strokes of the whip after the last hurdle. Readin Tommy Wrong just responded that little bit better to the persuader - a gutsy performance and he should come up the Cheltenham hill alright looking at that.
