Minellahalfcentury under the reliable Jody Sole and Ayalor for the Fry team. Two singles and a double.

PLOVER 28/1 Chelmsford 5.45
Yard are hoping the change of venue will bring about the necessary improvement to see this disappointing mare get in the winners enclosure again. She is fit and well and the yard is in form with even the old monkey Palace Moon winning this week.

Thanks for drawing attention to her...I think i will play this with few sheckles i like the profile..overpriced at 28/1

Boyles going 4/1 on Don Cossack & Yorkshill to place 4/1,max 50quid,decent offer that.

I can just imagine Sir Barney typing away at the coalface, venting his spleen at "those military types" <laugh>

I have always agreed with the late and much missed Oldest on our military, inasmuch as I have the greatest admiration for all of them. They are despatched to the most god-forsaken places on this planet, no questions asked, it's their job, even if the oft stupid politicans have ****-up. They are all heroes. To take the piss out of them e.g. "the marching and saluting brigade" goes too far IMHO. One could hardly rely on Sir Barney Chuckles and his gang of baronial malcontents to defend us in an emergency, at least I wouldn't think so, but life is full of surprises I guess. Sorry, what little sense of humour I might have does not stretch as far as taking the mickey out of our armed forces, no way.

If SBC is offended by the presence of our military he should piss-off pronto to his country-of-origin, which is? Frankly, I've no idea, but it's somewhere where they call Boxing Day..........St. Stephen's Day? <laugh>

Rant over.

Always look at course form here, so I'm interested in Hatton Springs in the 2.30 for some value; that'll do for now.

Chelmy.
I think I will have to follow Stick's suggestion today, my own picks are not exactly shining at the mo. So, Plover it is. The yard could do well this evening.
Well, I nearly got it right in the 8.20 yesterday, but what about the 8.15 this evening? Another one with any number who could win and I'm being led towards another Bradley/Norton horse in Temple Road.

Good Luck ( can I have some please? )

Tough luck yesterday, SimonJ, so near. My Arab ran OK but probably resented having the ass flogged off him for a few strides by the whip-whacking Luke Morris?

Don't think I'll try on the 8:15, but I do wish you good fortune! <laugh>

Would seem like JIM BEST is in the poo. Just found guilty on all charges and a bit more relating to the 3 horses not trying etc. Lifetime ban etc?

Very well done Jennys Surprise! Fine ride too, but a 7lb. allowance for a Lt.Colonel, well I never?..............<laugh>
