The race was always a Merc race ever since day 1. It's sweeping corners so its not ferrari territory at all.

I couldn't believe when I read that f1 was bigging up a battle for this race.

I hope red bull and McLaren can show something

McLaren probably had their best Friday since 2014, so that's nice to see at least. The race for the win is already over, unfortunately.

Maybe because McLaren have replaced Alonso with 2018 driver of the year Sirotkin as reserve

I have a plan to make the season more interesting. FIA award Mercedes the constructor championship, and Lewis the WDC post this race and tell Lewis to take a holiday. Then install the best female driver into Lewis's car for the rest of the season. Appreciate that might be a little unfair on Bottas.
We need something to spice this up. It will generate lots of debate about women in F1, pitch Vettel against Bottas and might put a few other names on the podium. Otherwise, just tell Merc to take a holiday for the rest of the season.
