    Not a huge risk at all but I'd feel the same way about Upson being on the pitch as I did with Sol last season.

    I get the feeling his wage demands would be quite a stumbling block, wasn't it Upson who snubbed a (then) quality Liverpool for West Ham and an extra £10kpw?

    I recall we were linked with him but it was ages ago. He must have been about 19 when we were apparently looking.

    Really injury prone though isn't he? I feel from his point of view he needs to build up his confidence again in the Championship/League 1 where he may still attract a top flight suitor.

    Here you go grandads .. sorry I couldn't get the vid embedded into this (bloody stupid flash effort) .. but chanced upon this today and it seemed to fit with your comments .. well I found it mildly amusing anyway, and since it's Friday .. <ok>

    [edit] tried this and it's seemingly set to not allow forwarding of URL's from anywhere else .. anyway, copy/paste and remove the space from after the www to make it work - although after all that it doesn't seem that funny anymore :()

    True. But he wont get chance at a bigger club. Get Hitzlberger aswell, he was the only decent player West Ham had apart from Ba.

    .......in fact lets get Rob Green, Upson, Hitzlberger, Ba and Scotty Parker in the first team..!!! : D (sarcastic)
