Have to say this free tickets and cheap tickets for schools lark really annoys me. I have had a season ticket since the SOL opened except for the year my daughter was born (money!) Still only missed 3 home games that season. Why should a school parent who goes to 2 games a season get a ticket for him/herself and their child when, at £400, it works out at more than that for my own?? How about sending a letter out saying "Thanks for your loyal support, due to keeping faith with Sunderland AFC, the final direct debit payment due in December will now be £50 instead of the planned £100" or something like that - still offer the kids tickets and stuff (not for the Man U game though surely!) but give us some incentive to remain as season ticket holders
The kids are the future season ticket holders. If you want an incentive to continue to be one then surely that's down to the ****ers on the pitch to put in the performances & get the results is it not?
