Sounds like he's been downgraded to a brexit after party ..bet he panicked when they called out two fat ladies. Probably thought his gut had dropped out.

appallingly unprofessional, no small wonder why conservative clubs are going bust if this is typical. we drove from brighton for a special fortnightly event at this club last nite, waited for an hour only to be told that it was cancelled. the barman had waited till it was all set up and we'd bought drinks before telling them they couldn't go on. when i queried it he then insisted it wasn't in the diary so hadn't been booked and couldn't go ahead....

<laugh> Reckon HIAG consoled himself by eating all the party sausages instead.
