Yes it's a strange one that I really don't have an issue with any team other than I like to wum the fcuk out of the Spuds but it's all in good fun. Also the same with almost all of the many reprobates that importune on here. <whistle>

The point is that he used Hiag's tagging of Bod as his reason for asking for a ban. That was duplicitous because, according to Bod, Piskie was well aware that Bod was ok with Hiag tagging him. Bod is also the one who told everybody plainly what had happened and how and why it had happened.

The only 'begging' as you call it, that I've seen Hiag do has been publicly, on here. Not behind his detractors backs to the Mods.

As to Spurlock's complaints, I've not seen him make any to the mods. Although, I have to say, some of Ginger's remarks to him have had very dubious undertones.

...I think Piskie accepts that requesting a ban in this instance was perhaps too extreme... but I still struggle with why asking for bans in any form (other than when it gets to serious levels of personal abuse) is being less of a 'grass' ... and I also suspect that HIAG's volume of PMs to the supermods around Vegasgate contained his suggestions for 'punishment' similar to the ones he expressed on here ..only the supermods know for sure mind.. :)

PISKIE didn't requested the ban because HIAG tagged Bod. He asked for the ban because he was tagging Bod in every thread and disturbing every conversion; aka he was killing the board.

Last, that's what PISKIE claimed anyway. We all know he really took the opportunity to ban HIAG with both hands. PISKIE also knows at least two supermods are happy to piss HIAG off too.

I still don't agree with the ban

I know nothing of any PM's Hiag may or may not have sent to the mods. The only complaining I've seen him do has been in public, here on these boards.

It's not only the asking for a ban that was wrong, it was the pretext upon which it was asked for, which was duplicitous.

How do you know he wasn't serious Sky did he pm you to let you you? the fact that you write something doesn't change its message because you're joshing! The fact you called for a life time ban on me was in vain because you mistook me for someone who gives a ****/ <ok>
