Guess it's not all over - there's always the Free Agent market to scour :(:(:(

No transfer fee, so only wages - might be more appealing to the powers that be.

Pretty pathetic that we even have to think about this, but if it offers a bit of squad cover....

    Currently available according to Transfermarkt

Can't see it being much worse - there must be one or two in there that would be good value as squad cover, or even potentially better than we've got...

I'd give him a trial and kirchhoff. See if they can go a week without breaking a nail. If so they could be decent

Maybe rafa will try Rossi on an incentive based deal. Would be nice. Have a feeling he will be heading back to the states.

Can't believe we've never utilised this, when we shut up shop on 31st August we are done in the fat man's eyes.
Would have had tremoulinas to fill the LB slot, dude was one of sevillas most important players only coupla year agp

Add Bacary Sagna to that list - City have just released him from his contract (according to the Croydon Advertiser!)
Ex-Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna, 34, is available on a free transfer after being released by Manchester City and has been linked with Crystal Palace, West Ham and Brighton. (Croydon Advertiser)

I'd take him on a short contract if he was up for it. Definitely need a LB and very experienced.

If we signed him we'd still need a LB as he plays at RB.

    Snap Joe Ledley right up.

Good player and will strengthen our midfield. Push Shelvey down the ladder a bit more too.

There's a normally a reason, no one wants the dregs that can't get a job.

Not to worry, lets give someone a nice contract, and in a years time, whine on that we cant get rid.
Better to give a youngster a chance, yes, remember them, we do have one or two hidden away somewhere.

Why are we discussing this when we have filled up the 25 squad places?
