I found it an interesting read, funny how players worth millions a couple of years ago are now on frees.

Disgusting, being called a naughty name by a fellow Stokie, & then to find out he's a yank, well that just takes the biscuit.I'm totally heartbroken, words cannot express how i feel, i'm off for another bottle of cider.
 
Bolo Zenden not very good? Agreed most players listed here aren't up to it, but I think he is still mint, and unlike when we said that about Eidur, we've seen Zenden play a few times this season, but I heard he was signing for Leeds? Also I noticed some of this list isn't very accurate most Utd players have retired, Garrido (Man City) signed for Lazio last year.

True but my point was, in the post I was replying to, you were insinuating that players must be **** if they're on a free, and I was pointing out that not all players available on a free are crap players, Seb Larsson, David Vaughan being 2.
 
There are a few players there that I think could improve us. None of them big names or mega stars, most not any better than our starting 11. For example someone like Zoltan Gera wouldn't be a massive signing, but I bet he's better than Tonge or Soares, i.e. players that are going to have a bigger part in smaller matches now we're in the Europa. As long as we do make some impressive signings to push us forward, I can't see a problem with looking at yes, average, but experienced players to help build the squad.

Sorry if my reply came across wrong, but i meant people on the list provided, yes you do get some jems for free (sorenson <ok>), but that list does not inspire me.

erm... I'm from Tunstall mate. I just live in America. Sorry for calling you a rude name, but I just thought the reason I posted the list was fairly obvious. And I think Sgt. meant when we got Sorensen he was on a free, not now (1 year left).

Personally I do think Larsson, Reo-Coker, and Gera would improve our squad.
