Thank you for that Albert, though I do have a confession to make , while commenting on the Newcastle forum there was one time when I was wrong and never owned up to it

When I was in the forces with people from all over the UK I was from 100% of them a Geordie IE I was from the North East of England, since then an insane phobia of fear of everything Sunderland has tried to contradict this, I feel the best thing is to leave them to their delusions and let the rest of the country, nay World decide , in a little country a long long way from Newcastle I am to everyone still called a Geordie , so there are two divisions, Newcastle and the rest of the world, and using the logic applied on this forum to my cost wherein , The truth is decided by majority vote, the World wins

2. Highest gate last season of 52,311.
3. Percentage ful last season of 92.8%

And SAFC have:

1. Average attendance for last season of 42,301.
2. Highest gate last season of 47,653.
3. Percentage ful last season of 86.3%

And THAT shows SAFC have the better fans.

Its good to have a historian of the stature of Fred on the forum.
