Our Lowest attendences came against Northampton and Sheffield Weds both in the cup both Mid-week

In the league our lowest attendence was 46,424 again Midweek and against Man City which is only 1200 off your all time high this season. For the majority of the season's home games we have more fans in attendance then what you recorded as your highest.

120,000.00 more people through the door over the course of 19 league games and 2 cup games! I also think you played alot more cup gams than us so Its not even comparible!

You can make up whatever figures you want but the people that are paid to do these things decided your lowest gate was a bit over 24,000 before Ash was forced to fork out 80,000,000 to buy your return and stop the slide

Newcastles figures considering their population and catchment area do NOT compare favourably with Sunderland a mere 6% more

Much lower attendances, fewer people each match and over the course of the season only a bit over half the overall number of people attending BUT...

according to this site of unknown origin your lowest attendance was 31824 whereas Liverpools was 43210. They are better fans. End of.


ps. Don't mock Fredor, it's close season and frankly we sort of need him around here. There are many legitimate reasons why Sunderland could laugh at Newcastle right now but oddly we seem to be caught up on the one area (attendance) which is pretty indisputably our strong point. Don't rock the boat!

I class people from County Durham as Mackems (cos that's how they talk), whether they are or not, I do not know. Can't we just call them mongrels?

Although it is still odd that he never posts on his own (SAFC) board.

He's like a mascot who brings balance to the force inside the matrix and speedforce.

I don't know either mate. My family are Mackems from Ferryhill and I'm a Half Yorkie who's lived in Consett for half his life and they refer to themselves as Geordies who support SAFC.

Maybe some have Geordie as a generic term for the region. I know folk from away who call all of us (safc and nufc) Geordies.

I've also heard some aay Geordies have to come from North of the river too and some eho say within 15 miles of NE1 so I'm none the wiser.

Personally I class myself as a mag supporting Geordie half breed who is also a turncoat :) for telling my dad as a pre-teen that I wanted to support the team his cousin played for (Paul Stephenson/NUFC).

Although working in Cheltenham during the week I have a taste for flat cider all of a sudden say oooarrrrhgg after a sip...
 
Geordies for me have to be born north of the River Tyne but not too far as you then become a Northumbrian but not sure how far that is though. Those from Newcastle are Novocastrians as well as Geordies.

Mackems are from Sunderland and those from the rest of Co Durham are...

does anyone who is a Geordie really, I mean really care?
