have just got back from Pompey & it was pretty obvious from the start of the game we would be lucky to see it finished. Thunder, lightning & rain from the off in fact the rain was probably heaviest after the ref called it off. Our fans were chanting early on we are going home early. Apart from that we looked really up for the game tonight even in the conditions which bodes well for the rest of the season. My thoughts I don't think Pompey would have scored in normal conditions free kick given ball came in on the wind & rain & headed back across. It might well be true off ours as well but up the wrong end to see properly. Any way it is Ron's fault he could have kept the storm in France.
I haven't seen a storm and was surprised to find the game abandoned. It's been warm and sunny here with just the occasional drop of rain. Bright sunshine now.
