A valid point but his injuries (or at least his second one) weren't down to that So he's a brave lad as well?
Not so sure about that! Campbell has 2 headed goals. That also eclipses the amount of header Altidore has won since we signed him! I liked what I saw against Fulham and haven't seen any of the Soton gam e so can't comment. Fletch, however, is top class. Hope his injury hasn't impacted him I would've like Di Canio to work with Campbell and for him to have been given a chance
I'm positive mate. Altidore will score more this season than Campbell did in his whole stay here. Not that I don't like Fraizer. He's a top lad, always gives his all and to come back from the two long term injuries like he did is commendable and I wish him all the best this season. Hopefully he'll have more luck in front of goal with Cardiff! 2 goals already is a great start
I noticed Elmo (Hull) Mclean (Wigan) and of course Campbell have improved since leaving us, next Graham will be banging them in for Hull !. Campbell was not given enough matches under O Neil and £600,000 was a joke.
Good luck to him. He deserves it. And Cardiff took a punt on him, so if that pays off, good for them.
Campbell is to fragile to be relied upon as the main striker, lets just see how his season pans out, he will pick up strains galore in the winter - plus he will be marked out of any game from now on - he is not physically string enough to impose himself. Man City did not show Cardiff enough respect and they certainly had not done their homework on Campbell. To me Man City still have a long way to go before they can be deemed contenders, the two games I have seen they have an arrogance about them they have not earned and they got caught out yesterday, big time.
