    Rid of who? Cattermole?

I thought cabral was a midfield anchor man?

i like the look of cabral, he looks like he could be an excellent capture. he looked good in that asia cup and looked decent on saturday, he also got forward and tried a few shots which is a new thing from our defensive midfielders

Yeah man, Catts. He and Cabral are our only natural defence minded MF, we're not in the market for another DM so to sell Catts would just leave us thin. I like Catts but won't object to him being sold provided he's replaced otherwise we're just making the same old mistakes again. 5 game in, Cabral picks up an injury and we've no cover. See what I mean?

Yes, but he's an expensive back up, injury prone, and far from being a model pro

I would prefer Colbeck to be second fiddle midfield anchor man mate

Whilst I agree with you on your first points there, I wouldn't dream of playing Jack there. I think Catts is way way better in that role. It would be another square peg round hole for me. colback and Larsson as our cm pairing? It would be a laughing stock in my opinion. Like I said, I wouldn't object to catts being sold but not at the expense of our survival. We're already 2 or 3 injuries from a guaranteed relegation dog fight because our squad lacks quality of depth. Why weaken our squad further?

I think Vaughan is the only dispensable player atm as we just don't have the cover for anybody else to leave.

We still need to sort out our supply to the forwards and I'm not sure DV helps that, although I think he's a good lad and has chipped in with a few screamers in his time. A million seems cheap though, unless he's heavy on the wages? I'd still keep an in-form Larsson before DV, but we have a seriously out-of-form Larsson ATM, so I am not convinced we are letting the right one go.

He was signed in an era that gave bramble silly wages and Bardo and Catts a silly wage in their contract renewal. You have to suspect that Vaughan along with Larsson and Gardner are on much more then their squad status deserves. Gardner Esp as he was a 5 mil signing so he'd want a decent wage to back the transfer fee. The Free agents suggest they'll be on way more than they should. If Ellis had the same mentality with MoN's signings then Cuellar will be on to much too. May explain the main reasons behind Alfie and Grahams loan moves and will probibly make it a make or break season for AJ to prove his worth.

I think Brambles wage showed we have a big problem with high wages for lesser players.
