Mary Hinge was a decent sprinter a few years ago.

The powers that be clearly don't understand Spoonerisms...

It's been announced that Roger Varian will train the daughter of Frankel and Danedream, NOTHING BUT DREAMS. In an article in today's Racing Post Varian said:

"Of course it's a great honour and privilege that I have been asked by the Shadai Farm to train Nothing But Dreams. She is the daughter of an Arc winner from Champion Frankel. She has been broken in and is currently undergoing light canters. Of course it's early, but she has a good action and good character."

What price for the Oaks?

Of course I've just discovered that Juddmonte are keeping a running list on their own website <doh> I'll cross reference what I find from other sources with their site and if there are differences of opinion I'll use their information.

Yes it's a useful site as they even list the arrangements for all their stallions produce (not just their mares). I was a bit surprised a few weeks back to see Bell still being sent some Royal 2yos. He seems to have lost a spell or two..

I see Frankel is 2-1 favourite to be the first season sire to produce most winners in the 2016 turf season. I think that's a surprising price. If it was to be the first season sire to win most prize money I'd think he'd have a chance but he's hardly likely to have early types given his own career and the mares he was sent. He will probably prove me wrong but I'd have thought Harbour Watch, Casamento and even Bated Breat (though he didn't run as a 2yo: but we don't know why) may get more winning youngsters than Frankel. A good outsider might be Power.
