Frankel has the current sale topper at Book 1, with a colt out of Qushchi (Listed winner, dam of US G2 winner, from family of Grand Lodge) selling for 925,000 to M V Magnier.

Things going well at the sales too.

Of 17 lots offered so far, 2 failed to reach their reserve (led out at 170,000 and 360,000 respectively) and the others range between 925,000 and 110,000 with an average of 385,000 (on a stud fee of £175,000).

Coolmore and Godolphin have picked up 2 each so far:

Coolmore - colts out of Qushchi and Shadow Hunter
Godolphin - colts out of As Good As Gold and Auld Alliance

There are 3 lots left to be offered today.
 
The last 3 Frankel’s in the ring made 200,000, 360,000 and 320,000 respectively though the last two did not meet their reserves.

I’ve had a small each way on Wild Beauty - proven G1 performer, 9/1 looks a huge price though obviously Inspiral put her in her place when they last met. I’ll be happy with any of the Frankel fillies!
