Just says she’s had a training setback in the reports.

Looking forward to seeing WITHOUT PAROLE in the 2.55 at Yarmouth this afternoon. If he’s as good as they think he should walk this.

OMG that was better than his last run, would get Derby trip no problem, lets hope he stays sound. :emoticon-0169-dance

If i'm not mistaken the owner also bred hot favourite for Kentucky Derby in Justify.

That seems to be a very fast time compared to other races on the day (although they were low class races). Does anyone know the most valuable/highest graded races run at Yarmouth during the season and also any of the best horses to have run at Yarmouth in the last 20 years?

Yarmouth’s best race is the Listed John Musker Fillies Stakes run in September, it was won a few years ago by SO MI DAR.

Yarmouth has been a great nursery for top horses over the years, Dubai Millennium and Ouija Board both broke their maidens at the track and they have some ridiculous statistic like 5 Breeders’ Cup winners have made their debuts at the track.

Here we go, from Wikipedia:

“In 1998 Dubai Millennium won his debut at Yarmouth impressively, ridden by Frankie Dettori, before becoming one of the best horses to run for the worldwide Godolphin operation, owned by the Dubai royal family. Since then Great Yarmouth winners included Ouija Board, who went on to win the English and Irish Oaks before scoring at the Breeders Cup, the annual international horse racing championships in the USA. Wilko, Raven's Pass and Donativum were others that won at Yarmouth en route to future Breeders Cup glory.[1]

Can’t wait for CRACKSMAN in the Prix Ganay this afternoon, with FINCHE also running. Could be a nice Frankel Exacta <wink>

Just read this....

Plans remain fluid for Roger Charlton's exciting colt Herculean.

A son of Frankel out of Group One-winning sprinter African Rose, the three-year-old made a big impression on his racecourse debut at Ascot in September but has not been seen in competitive action since.

He holds entries in the Irish 2,000 Guineas and the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot and Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager for owner-breeder Khalid Abdullah, issued an upbeat report on his well-being.

He said: "He is coming along fine. We have put him in the St James's Palace Stakes.

"Roger Charlton is happy with him at this stage, but I don't think he has really gone through the gears yet.

"He has been moving great this year and done well through the winter."

I think they thought the Guineas would come too soon for Herculean, he was such a big gangly thing as a 2yo.

Tattersalls Gold Cup at The Curragh being talked about as a possible next race for CRACKSMAN. He’ll only go to Royal Ascot if it’s not firm.
