Shame about Covey yesterday, I was very disappointed in his run. However, Frankel managed to hold on as Leading Sire at Royal Ascot, tied on 3 wins with Galileo and Siyouni but finishing clear on the count back with 3 seconds and 1 third. Just started reading the Frankel biog. About 100 pages in. It wouldn’t be a book I’d have thought to buy but I was given it. As someone who has little knowledge of the workings of a thoroughbred stud farm it’s a really interesting read.
