Nice to see Covey stepping up in class, he’s well thought of as I’ve said before and his performance last time out is plenty good enough to win this.
 
Shame about Covey yesterday, I was very disappointed in his run.

However, Frankel managed to hold on as Leading Sire at Royal Ascot, tied on 3 wins with Galileo and Siyouni but finishing clear on the count back with 3 seconds and 1 third.

Interesting to see Nashwa dropped in class today for the Hoppings at Newcastle.

I’ve had a few quid on Theoryofeverything, he was supposed to run at Ascot last week but was a late withdrawal so you have to assume they think a fair bit of him.

Just started reading the Frankel biog. About 100 pages in. It wouldn’t be a book I’d have thought to buy but I was given it. As someone who has little knowledge of the workings of a thoroughbred stud farm it’s a really interesting read.
