MONARCHS GLEN declared at Goodwood on Wednesday. EMINENT and RAINBOW LEGACY both entered at Newmarket on Thursday.
I really do not like that mare. Rainbow's Legacy ran just as expected. Let's hope he can improve to win something.
The commentators sounded impressed with his looks and demeanour, spooking in the paddock aside, so hopefully he can improve for the run.
But his brother Christmas Hamper was an absolute picture and beat 2 horses in his first 2 starts. This one could be the same

From today's Racing Post: Queen Kindly my filly of a lifetime says Fahey BY LEWIS PORTEOUS9:15AM 21 SEP 2016 TWENTY-FOUR hours after Wesley Ward waxed lyrical about Cheveley Park Stakes favourite Lady Aurelia, Richard Fahey gave his own glowing endorsement to big-race rival Queen Kindly, describing the daughter of Frankel as the filly of his lifetime. Lady Aurelia hardened as favourite for Saturday’s 6f Connolly’s Red Mills-sponsored Group 1 event after her US trainer delivered a bullish update on the unbeaten Prix Morny winner, who is reportedly thriving in Newmarket. However, Fahey thinks he too has something special on his hands with Queen Kindly, a top-priced 3-1 second favourite and already the conqueror of one odds-on hotpot when defeating fellow Frankel filly Fair Eva in the Lowther. “You’ve got to respect what they’re saying but Queen Kindly is different to what I’ve seen before,” said Fahey, leaving little doubt she is the best juvenile filly to have passed through his extensive Musley Bank operation. “She’s got natural speed and a good mind. She always looked like a colt – strong, with a big backside – and is getting stronger and more professional. Everything is going well, we’ve had no issues and we’re happy.” 'We might have closed gap' While impressed like everyone else with Lady Aurelia’s tremendous performance in the Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot, Fahey hopes the gap between the US filly and her British counterparts might have closed since June. He said: “It was an awesome performance at Ascot but she looked very strong and forward then and maybe we’ve caught her up a bit. We’ll definitely be taking her on so we’ll see.” After Ward described his runner as a once-in-a-lifetime filly, Fahey was asked if the same could be said about Queen Kindly, to which he replied: “She is in my lifetime anyway.” Although he thinks the market for the Newmarket feature accurately portrays what has been seen so far, Fahey believes it is more than a two-horse contest, adding: “Of course I fear Lady Aurelia, who is favourite and probably entitled to be, but there’s another two or three in the race too.”
ATTY PERSSE purchased by Godolphin and stays with Roger Charlton (will be his first Godolphin runner).

From ATR: Eminent received quotes for next year's Qipco 2000 Guineas after becoming the latest progeny of the mighty Frankel to taste victory in the John Banks Renault Cambridge EBF Stallions Maiden Stakes at Newmarket. Despite still having plenty of growing to do to fill his sizeable frame, the Martyn Meade-trained two-year-old made the perfect start when casting his rivals aside in the mile contest to earn an opening 50-1 tag for the Classic with Paddy Power. Although charting a wide path for much of the journey, the 6-1 shot travelled strongly into contention under title-chasing Jim Crowley before pulling impressively clear inside the final quarter of a mile, claiming victory by two and three-quarter lengths. Meade said: "The pressure is off. He could not have done any better or anything more for us. Luckily he (Crowley) managed to pull him up before hitting the High Street. "I was a bit worried when he was out on his own, but by that time the penny had dropped and he had got sorted out. "We brought him here earlier in the week to have a look around the parade ring and he conducted himself like a true professional. He has lived up to every expectation we've had of him. "The great thing is we've taken our time with him and not rushed him. That might be it (for the year) as I don't want to do too much more. He will be a lovely three-year-old." Crowley said: "I pulled him out because they were going so slowly. I wasn't going to be stuck up the back of something that couldn't take me any further. Those Frankels have such a big stride on them, there is no point sitting out the back waiting for a sprint. "He is a proper horse. I've ridden three Frankels now and they all have massive strides on them. I think he definitely has a big future. He felt like a very nice horse and he's a proper, mature two-year-old."
