Giggs has a better passing range than fat frank, and always has. Giggs is also still better at taking the ball past opponents. Lumplard is not only inferior to a 38 year old winger in several key areas but he's too crap for Chelsea's midfield and has found himself warming the bench. Not even in his peak was he good enough. Gerrard is a poor mans Scholes, Lampard is a poor mans Gerrard.
