No doubt our French cheerleader DT will be telling us all how wonderful his adopted country will be tonight, but the rumblings continue to tell us that the disaster against Sweden already has the egos at each other's throats. I saw nothing in their match against England to suggest France were potential winners, skilful and good on the ball but lacking a real cutting edge. Sweden, of all teams, are the last side you would have expected to take the French out but did so comfortably showing grit and determination often wins the day.
Spain haven't been at their best in this tournament and they were fortunate against Croatia but did the job. They have such quality through their side that it's hard to bet against them tonight, I've a feeling our old scum friend Mr Sitter might just have a say in this tournament and with the likes of Llorente not even used yet they'll have too much for France. They also have a player who has really looked impressive, Jordi Alba the Valencia full back who I think has been one of the finds of the tournament...
