    Fair enough, if you're not invested in either team that wasn't great. But as a fan that was tense, balanced and heart stopping

    Anyway, great result (Sorry Joe!) now to avoid to semi final curse thats afflicted us lately

    Yeah, kinda got that impression from the pundits. The last 10 mins, after I woke up, looked quite exciting though. I suppose with Germany scoring so early, they thought they could afford to be patient? Bit disappointed the French are out really.

    I had the game on while doing some work. The impression I got was that Germany never really got that troubled, despite an inherent lack of pace in their defence. They dictated the pace of the game, and France allowed them to do it. Poor.
