Kiff as I have said all along, Wales since the Belgium win have been piss poor at best, we will not get out of this group, I still don't rate Coleman and god forbid Wales lose Bale. To many on here believing their own hype, look at our performances they haven't been good, Take out the 2 Belgium games and the Israel away and the rest have been average, Wales will not win a game in the Euros. I will await the slaughtering later.
Well beaten today with plenty of mistakes that its good that they are made now and we learn from them before the tournament starts.....It's nothing to really be concerned about as all the other teams have lost games....Coleman is a good manager who will make sure we will be ready i have no doubt about that.
No Joe Allen, Ledley or Bale, so not strong enough midfield, still Taylor at LB is a mistake, Coleman should have played Ben Davies there, Taylor is no longer good enough, and Coleman needs to look at this. Still 3-0 is bad and a wake up call..... Taylor is now only good enough as backup.
Not really.....no player will want to get injured on the eve of the tournament would they. the score reflected that besides some key players missing...i would not worry about the score if i was you..
I tend to agree. What I've seen of Wales since qualifying hasn't been good. It's almost as if they think it's job done and anything now is a bonus.
Unfortunately I don't see us winning any games in the group. Hope I am proved wrong. I am not basing this on results of friendlies but more on performance and without Bale sorry, but we don't seem to offer much. As for the "no player wants to get injured argument" Sweden were in the same boat and managed to score 3. England have only lost 1 warm up game and that was with a second string. Slovakia have only lost 1 (Germany) and we haven't won any. The only saving grace is Russia where we might get a draw. I know I sound pessimistic but don't get me wrong I don't think we will get hammered, I just don't feel we have enough to turn a game from a draw into a win
Well i have more hope than that...there is a difference to playing friendlies than actually playing in the tournament itself....we played great to qualify so why cant we do the same when a game means something. Friendlies are different where the manager try's things out and the score is not that important. we know that when a game counts we can match anyone....
I agree Dai. Take Slovakia - our players are more than a match to theirs. However - we have Bale - they don't. With him on the field everyones performance lifts, and Bale himself is the magic in creating the goals. I don't care if people say "well without Bale you've no chance" - the point is we have him - so shut the **** up innit. In qualifying we didn't concede many goals - hell Belgium couldn't score against us in 2 matches. As long as we defend that way then we always have a chance of winning a match. Can't wait for Saturday !!! Biggest Welsh match in history for me, and each match after it will also claim that title.
Joe Allen is an injury doubt for Wales first game, Wales massive problem is the squad is piss poor and that has been shown in the build up friendlies, you lose 1 or 2 from the first 11 and the rest are simply not good enough. If Wales keep everyone fit they have a slim chance of nicking a win, but I just cant see it, it has been over a year since we put in a performance and have only won 1 of 7.
Wales is just lulling the rest of the group into a false confidence , when push comes to shove Wales will be firing on all cylinders IMO . Wales will come out of the group moving on to the next round before you can say " God save Putin "
Like the optimism roof, if they can win 1 game they should get out of the group, just can not see what one it will be, been poor for far to long and will be hard to change that round, once you get into that rut hard to get out, even the manager has alluded to Wales being complacent.
Honesty at its best. What would you have done? Fair play to the guy http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/euro-2016-tickets-found-stunned-8111799
I think we have to approach this with a care free attitude, we're there for the first time ever to the living so go out and enjoy it, we have some good players who need to step up and I think we'll do well. Enjoy it fellas might not happen again.
