If Campbell did leave Sunderland then I think it'll be the likes of Fulham, West Ham, Swansea, Norwich who would sign him, The lad has too much talent to be playing in the championship. Great memories of him from 2007/08, soured slightly by the events in the summer of 2009.

Other than us there was only Sunderland went for him. So for it to have been beneficial for him it'd mean that had Campbell and his dad not been banging on about how he was looking forward to joining us in the HDM, Steve Bruce, the former Man U defender who's not exactly shy of signing players from Old Trafford wouldn't have known about the England U21 international Man U reserve player, a player who'd had an impressive season at Antwerp before joining us to score 15 goals in less than a full season in the Championship as we got promoted, and had then spent a season on loan at Tottenham. I was optimistic about our transfer window until I read that and realised we now have Steve Bruce and the same head scout in charge of our moves in the transfer market.
