Who are these strikers ? Because as much as I rate fryatt ,Campbell is head and shoulders above anything we have
Fryatt played all last season and we were **** up front then too. We're kidding ourselves if we think a player who happens to be have been injured this season is going to make a massive difference when he comes back, even though he's already had a season playing up front in this team and it made no difference then.
Shame he scored a good percentage of those after it didn't matter though isn't it? Still think he is our best goalscorer at the moment in any case.
I don't know why i always feel the the compulsion to reply to this crap, i really should know better, but here we go again. Matty was the only striker we had last season that actually scored goals. Had Whoopi Goldberg chipped in with sixteen of his own,we would have found ourselves in the play offs at the very least. Do you really believe a teams goal tally should come from one source and one source only ? And what of the goal return from the wings ,centre halfs ect. Without Fryatts/Korens goals we'd be playing in league 1 now. Brian Laws would manager and Adebola would be our first choice striker ffs !
Fryatt's clearly not ****e, though my concern is that he needed 10 chances to score once and this year we're not making as many clear-cut opportunities.
Ben you just need to calm the **** down, everything I say you're all over it misinterpreting and having a paddy. Read what I ****ing said before you get all menstrual. We couldn't score last season and we can't score this season, so Fryatt obviously isn't the difference. That's the simple point I made. I didn't even get into him being a ****e finisher which everyone ignores, I can't imagine what your reaction would be like if I went there. Calm the **** down. No I don't believe any of that crap. Like I said to Ben, read what I said. I usually don't mind debates with you but your reaction here is as bad as one of Ben or Chazz's. Don't respond based on the poster's name, look at what he's actually put. I don't think he's ****e either, but my concern is the same as yours and also that we're now holding him up as some sort of hero who's goingh to massively change things when he was here last season doing what Aluko and the others are doing now.
I always read what you post ISTPLT. In fact iv'e just re-read it. I suggest you do the same. Go on read my post again and then re-tell me Fryatt made no difference !
Reading some of the comments, maybe it's better to not make personal attacks on other posters and actually reply to what was said, isn't that what it says on the forum rules here? Getting a little bit 'local' I think, she said, he said, I got quoted something I said in May about the Allams yesterday. Who cares get over it ladies!
Jesus wept. Fryatt played last season, we couldn't score goals. Fryatt hasn't played yet this season, we can't score goals. Logically, that's as fair a test as you can get. Fryatt's absence or presence is obviously not the deciding factor in whether we score goals. Whatever that factor is, it's something we haven't had for the last 2 years. That is all I'm saying, you're looking at my name and the key word 'Fryatt' and assuming I'm insulting the prophet again. All I'm saying is we needn't expect him to turn it around himself, based on logicial evidence.
Fryatt played last season,he did score goals. That's my point,no ? Answer the ****ing question. And what's with this prophet **** ? Who said that ? You know i swear Matty turned down your amorous advances sometime. Your ****ing obsessed ! No offence mate hey !
I think his point is that even with Fryatt we'll be scoring no more than a single goal per game, when we need to be capable of getting 2, 3 or 4. Virtually every other team in the division is.
i think what hes trying to say is, it isnt as simple as getting fryatt back and wel rocket up the league.. not having a dig at him, but in fact the rest of the squad....we need the others to contribute with or without fryatt, not just relying on him as last season proved one player (fryatt) knocking them in consistently isnt enough..
