Okey dokey, this might help to get the thread back on track.

I've just sent this to someone who'd sent me a PM on RTG basically calling me a liar.

Some of this may not apply here but it's too long to edit.

"FPP negotiated a deal, with Donald, that was agreed by both parties, a done deal. Fuhrman said as much to a friend, Ben Brown, who showed me the messages between them. They're the only messages I've seen from any of FPP and it was just a huge coincidence that I met Ben Brown at the time the deal had been agreed. The outstanding message from Fuhrman was that he'd 'just bought Sunderland'.

When I posted this information I received confirmation by PM, on RTG, from someone who gave me details only a person involved could know. Since that time they've sent other information that has proved to be 100% correct. I've also received various messages from someone at a Sunderland supporters group, a friend of Methven who I met up with at matches including Lincoln away, and two posters on here who been hit and miss but generally correct. Methven going, McGeady being peddled, Ross sacked, etc were posted, on their word, well before the media reported it.

There were some things I repeated that were way off but nothing worse than the kind of things the Echo, BBC, fanzines, etc were guilty of. In fairness Donald has told so many people so many things that it's difficult to sift the truth from all the lies.

Part of what I was shown was a collection of feasibility study titles which I assumed we're commissioned by FPP but never actually confirmed as such, who else could it be though tbh. These included an appraisal of the potential at the AOL which coincided with an FPP visit. Other studies were on the SOL, the area around the ground, the club image including the badge, Sheepfolds, etc all of which seemed quite reasonable for someone looking to buy and develop a club. After all, these weren't plans, just studies. Some people have made far too much of them which isn't my problem but, of course, I'd love it all to happen, I'm a Sunderland supporter!

After all of this Donald then believed FPP were so enamoured with the project, which involved him running the show, that he could now chance his arm and ask for two bonuses. I'm not sure if I'm yet allowed to post them so let's say a big bonus for promotion and another, double the first, for reaching the PL.

At which point the whole thing soured and FPP said the original agreed deal was the only one they'd accept. The suggestion is that the deal now didn't include a salaried contracted position for Donald meaning he'd only break even or perhaps lose money. So his only two options are to accept FPP's initial offer or find a buyer who'll offer more.

FPP are still there, haven't altered their position in months and are currently the biggest investors. If someone makes a better offer they'll have a decision to make, but as things stand they'll eventually own the club even if they don't particularly want it.

They'll become owners by default."
Cheers smug, it makes me feel so much better reading these posts of yours so keep them coming

Great post smug. Thanks again for the info. Time will tell I suppose but it does tie in with what I was told and discussed with you. Seems like an eternity ago. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Not sure I'm keen on owners who don't particularly want it now mind.

I'm not saying they don't mate, just that a situation may develop whereby they get what they wanted without really trying.

Donald thought he was on the beach but that could easily turn to quicksand. ....

... FPP are the coastguards who'll jump in if he looks like he's going under.

"get a grip" is not a criticism mate....it's a request.
Indeed. The mods have turned a blind eye to Bri implying that certain posters on here are racists. Now they have to accept that sooner or later people will respond in kind. It should have been knocked on the head but it wasn’t. Now it’s going to play out naturally and on my terms, in my own time.

I’d advise our mods not to get involved with my responses after not getting involved with the allegations thrown at me recently.

Yeah, Mods.
You wouldn't want your forum to have an 'accident' now, would you?

The worst are the ones you don't really notice at first because they're so dull.

Hong Kong Phooey, the dog fingerer, is typical ...

... horrible sly little toad who'll cuddle up to anyone he thinks will agree with him.
that's because he hasnt worked out yet that the bit he enjoys licking on the dog isn't a lipstick, and is still wondering why his lips go creamy after use..............<laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>
