FPP to take full control

One thing I'm sure of, having been told by someone who would know, is that FPP would have no problem owning and running the club with or without Donald.

They would've completed a full takeover of Newcastle if Ashley hadn't shifted the goalposts.

That info came from someone London based who is in Ashley's circle down there. I posted that info, in a long detailed post, weeks before it became common knowledge. The same person told me Ashley was furious with Stavely and would publicly humiliate her while kicking her offer into touch. I posted that, on RTG, a month before it happened.

I obviously tell friends all of this and more, so don't need, or crave, the approval of strangers on forums. I do it because I'm pretty sure people are interested. Anyone who knows me would confirm the very last thing I'd do would be to betray the trust of genuine Sunderland supporters.

In a nutshell I believe FPP are happy to take over the club and will do so when the circumstances are right.

Of course it's always possible that Donald will refuse to sell or find another buyer ...

... but FPP have somewhat restricted his ability to do that.

You'd hope FPP have Donald exactly where they want him. I honestly think they hold the cards, and are just waiting for the right time.

You'd also hope that Donald will sell to the best buyer for the future of SAFC. Given the amount of due diligence FPP have done, the £10m loan against the SoL & AoL, their business acumen and financial backing, you'd think they were the best possible people to take over.

Thankfully Parkinson seems to be able to distance the players from it all.

I said a few weeks back that we've had so much shyte thrown at us that the manager, team and supporters will suddenly snap into a 'Stalingrad mentality' and think fek this we're Sunderland and we're not taking any more of this ... that happened at Doncaster imo and the supporters were an integral part of that.

Now that we have the momentum we need to stop focusing on takeovers, finance and calls for Donald's head.

Big match on Friday followed by more big matches every week until the end ...

... we can't let the pro-whingers back in if we lose the odd game, KTF and support whatever we have in front of us!

I'm still hopeful my £50 bet that I put on at the start on getting promoted will come in.
