He's definately not a mag - hes just a wind up merchant who gets people biting like **** at his posts.
She couldn't think of a good reason. She also said that FPP Ltd wouldn't have been set up as a flyer or by accident, it was deliberately set up for this on the advice of people paid to make sure it was the right way to do it, and she can't think of a reason to close it if that process is still going on. Even if they were adding more companies to their group.
She didn't say but I suspect she'd add that she doesn't know the ins and outs of this particular deal and I'm not bugging her with it now, she has 7 deals including a Premier League club refinancing to handle.
What about the idea of closing it simply because they can buy Madrox instead now? A holding company already set up that has the loan against it. Its straw clutching like but them buying Madrox is the only alternative to them being gone. Like you say there's no reason why they'd close FPP Sunderland just to open another company to buy it through, so either they buy Madrox for some reason related to the loan or they're gone and god knows who we end up with!
Sadly not. They'd have been advised to buy Madrox with another UK company, not simply become shareholders.
Basically separation of person/company A/ Target company seems to be a big thing they would be advising.
But wouldn't that mean buying it with the US company which she says is not really feasible, or they'd set up another UK company to buy Madrox but no point in closing this one to do that. Unfortunately, I think it's the end of the road with FPP.
I think she agrees with that. I feel like just adding that she's not a US tax specialist, and she hasn't seen the situation in any detail. But she said that the only reason they would advise to close it would be if they weren't going ahead, or if they had taken over ages ago and restructuring their group for tax purposes.

I have no doubt we will be taken over, dont know when or who but it will happen.
Football is the new Hollywood and apart from maybe the usa the world cant get enough and especially the british version.
All I ask ( and reasonably expect ) is the EFL does it's due diligence and ensures who ever is poking and prodding around passes the fit and proper person(s) criteria.
I dont want any more flyboy, tyre kicking chancers whose personality and negotiating skills have been honed from the pages of 20th century autotrader.
While it was nice to dream there was never a chance we would end up the ne version of city on steroids.
Even if we got new owners next week I believe it will take at least another 5 years before premier league stability would ever be possible.
Clubs can have short term success ..look at sheff utd at the moment, but I believe it will be short lived.
Bournemouth and WHU are looking very poorly. Watford, Southampton, brighton are all having to punch above their weight to keep their head above water.
In short if you arent part of the big 6 or 7 you are always on the cusp of being dragged into a relegation stoush.
Fans expect money to be spent based upon the Aladdin's cave of EPL television rights.
Fact is you need tv money just to pay things like wages and other operating costs.
People need to get a sense of perspective and reality

I can see if I can find out if there's an obvious tax advantage to this over dinner. Not sure my mrs will be happy as she has about 5 things on her plate and while I sit in my office she's in hers (in the same house) still working after leaving at 7am this morning. Might make this a very very high level query
No offence mate but im glad i turn up for work knowing exactly what i have to do and can overcome any obstacles by working out what the problem is and overcoming it,
