I remember you mentioning ex England manager/newcæstle then schhteeeve turns up recently

:eek::D

Exactly mate.

At one time that happening to a L1 side, or peddling the most popular player, would've sounded ludicrous.

Now, people just accept it as common knowledge.

And, as I keep saying, FPP are currently the biggest investors in the club.

The idea they'd go through EFL checks, due diligence, feasibility studies, flights, solicitors fees, etc just to lend a few million is just daft imo.

They just want the club on their terms.

Tbh I will be happy when we consign messrs donald, methven, sartori to a small appendix in our history books.
They are not the sort of people we need at a club that we hope aspires to integrity, decency, morality etc

I’d rather the resurfacing of this story turned up at the end of the season if I’m honest, even though I still think the FPP thing was still smouldering anyway.
After all the hype previously (and I got overly excited by it) I’m a lot happier to just sit and wait and try and enjoy what’s happening on the pitch right now as it’s night and day by comparison to what we were seeing before Christmas and a takeover from a group of multi billionaires seemed to be the only ray of light shining through a pile of festering **** (excuse me being blunt).
It still amazes me how, no matter what upturn we get in news or results on the pitch, some are happier to keep wallowing in misery and negativity and looking at any opportunity to spin positivity back into a black and depressing thing.
Anyway, the next bit of good news im looking forward to for now will be around 21:45 on Friday
so you have heard about Fulwell bri then

Can’t see sd selling before the summer now , we are right in the mix for promotion, if he holds out for another 4 months he could get an extra 40m+
If Parky pulls off the Party with Parky and we go up I can see donald staying

I

I fail to see what he brings to the table .
He clearly isnt up to taking criticism..his ego is clearly as fragile as trumps handle on honesty.
His role in the sale of maja and the subsequent purchase if the greatest white elephant ever in the 1st division shows his judgement is horribly flawed.
He kept ross on 6 months too long.
He also has a penchant for spouting when it would be better to keep schtum.
Painting faded seats and saying things wants to hear does not a CEO make.
Bad memory you've got Fulwell.
At the very least he sorted out Ndong, Rodwell and Dilybodji.
The club is in a better position than 20 months ago but lets not give credit where it is due eh?

A club spiralling out of control and falling into the abyss with an owner who lost interest and cut off funding.
Donald steadied the ship and pushed for promotion.
And we are pushing again.
I'm happy with him so far.

Will he be forgiven for his petulance if we go up?

I'd forgive anyone who has the clubs best interest at heart.
Not saying he has but i think he has and not just to earn a buck although I won't begrudge him if he helps get us up.
There's a lot of young uns only know us mostly in the prem and want instant success,
just as petulant or more.
Rome wasn't built in a day and i realise SD hasn't the financial clout to build a city but i do think he's putting good foundations in from the ruins ;)
