youtube can decieve though so im going off what i can remember of seeing of him. Im not saying it as a bad thing as thats not his style of play. In him we have bought a striker who is put away anything in front of him with relative ease. However, i just hope fans dont expect him to chase everything down, he is like a quicker yak.
Im the first to put the Festa lot down, but when im hearing some of the **** being talked about, sometimes you need to give them a break! I do not understand people coming on here saying Beckford's attitude is **** and he's lazy etc etc but he will bag you loads of goals.... Excuse me for being thick, but isnt that what a striker does? A striker not scoring goals is something to worry about! You have the midfield to set up the goals, for the striker to score! Personally i think Beckford will flop in this league as there is far to much expectaiton on his shoulders, but thats just my opinion, great in league one though! You cant argue the fact that Maynard would have been a better signing as he is proven in the championship, and that was what you are after, Beckford is a gamble, but that is just my opinion.
So the striker that was a success in L1 and a success in the Premier League is going to be a flop in the Championship - Yeah of course he is Apart from the obvious you wouldn't sell Maynard to us - he would have been a bigger gamble due to previous injury - Possibly injury probe too
I dont get where this "Success in the Premier League" comes from? There is nothing to back up that he was a success, i agree he was a huge success in League 1

I dont call 34 games with only 8 goals a success! But if your happy with that, then good luck to you! I work that out to be a 10 goal a season man, so yea, great success!

Well I certainly remember him ripping a strong Man U side apart in the FA Cup about 20 months ago. Can't see Maynard doing that, or any other Championship striker for that matter.
Believe everton are in the sh*t and without this money and Arteta sale, could have been in real trouble, Moyes was told that he had to buy in order to freshen up the squad, my bet is the money has gone straight to their bank.
We never called any of those players ****. Max Gradel is a class act and was one of the top players in the league. Just Leicester fans don't like hearing honest things about their new buys. Like how Schmiechel is arrogant, can be hot one day and very cold they next and throws his toys out of his pram when he dosen't get what he wants on the pitch and Beckford is a lazy twat who is amazing at one thing, goalscoring. And well I haven't got a bad word to say about Gradel, he attacked, he helped the full back out, he had skill, he had pace and he had vision. Oh wait no I'm Leicester fans know more about players they have seen play for them for 2 or 3 matches than Leeds fans them play for entire seasons. One of the reasons I can't stand Leicester fans, your an arrogant bunch (no offence just my HONEST opinion )
Im really bamboozled as to why the i/embicile is still fussing over a rival club who will spend 20 million a player come next season? Pal, we dont care so much about squad personel, what we want is to be back where this club is entitled to, the premiership. You´re always going to say your team should be 'back where they belong' I think it´s a figure of speech more than any thing. When you remember your team being in the prem it´s hard not to say it. LCFC had an unbelievable time in the prem under Martin O´Neill from come backs to upsets & cup runs to euro football (or be it brief) We all want our teams to be there BUT you only get there if you deserve it & that means hard work & some good luck... oh & good refs too. At the end of the season you are where you are I guess & I hope that means prem football for us & npower for dirty Leeeeeds lol
