Foxes Fans not from Leicester

Just for my own curiosity - are there any fans on this forum or does anybody know any fans who are not actually from Leicester ?

I live in Belfast but am from Leicester - I have met 1 Leicester Fan who is from northern Ireland and have seen maybe 2 city shirts on people in the last 25 years of living here... we are a rare breed indeed.

I'm guessing Foxy in Foyle lives on this fair Isle but is he/she from Leicester!!!

 

I am from Kirby Muxloe but have lived most of my life in NZ. Have three mates here who are City fans, two also from Leicester and one from Christchurch. He jumped on board way back in the nineties and has always been a loyal supporter.

 

West Bridgford for me but my family and upbringing is Thurcaston in Leicester

 

I am indeed on the Isle with you, Eglinton and yes, originally from Leicester. Haven't seen another City shirt since I've been here or met anyone who is. Spent all of my time up until 2016 explaining who Leicester City were!

If I'd known you were in Belfast Martin , I'd have let Newsline interview you, save me embarrassing myself on tv after we won the league!!

 

I think @MIAMI_FOX is local. Miami is off Saffron Lane somewhere. I think its where Iborra lived

 

Trust me i have a face for the radio - If they had interviewed me it would have been a recruitment drive for Manchester United !!

I’m not sure we are the kind of club, at least until the last couple of years, that would have fans not from the area unless through family links. That’s a great thing as well.
We do have lots who have left the area though, I’m from Kegworth right on the edge of the country but live in Sheffield now

Been a Leicester fan for over 60 years born and bred in Dover Kent. 2 of my older brothers live in the Leicester area in late 50's - early 60's and took me to a match when I was just 4 or 5 years old. and now live in the North East of Scotland but still LCFC mad.

 

Iborra never lived on the Saff mate ....

I was born in the General Hospital and lived just off Welford Rd (Cairnsford Rd) until I was 3 ... then my parents bought an off licence on Knighton Lane which links Saffron Lane and Grace Rd ... lived there until I came home from Uni then moved down to High Wycombe for work in my mid 20s ... been living in rural Hertfordshire since 2007 ...
